MarketPlace Newsletter

March, 2007
Volume 2, Issue 1

Dear Valued Client,

This quarter you’ll find SicommNet continues to advance and enhance our eProcurement service to make buying and selling easier. We also offer more of our added-value features to help make businesses like yours more attractive sellers to public agencies and their buyers.

Special Vendor Resources:

Did you know that with a SicommNet Productivity account, you are able to utilize ‘Tutorial Mode’? This lets you practice all the functions of the MarketPlace in a ‘test’ environment. To upgrade your account, simply login and go to your ‘Billing Profile’ under the ‘Profiles Manager’ tab.

New Vendor Services:

We listened to your feedback; SicommNet has changed the way attachments are accessed. You can now directly download an attachment by simply right-clicking on its link and saving it to your hard drive.

Daylight Savings Time Change:

Recently while most people enjoyed a nice Sunday with a later sunset, SicommNet’s programmers and testers were busy making sure that all of our systems and servers were not affected by the time change impacting most regions of the country. We are happy to report that everything went smoothly.

Tip:

Add ‘@sicomm.net’ to your approved list if you, or your company’s email system, use any type of junk email protection.

Your Vendor Profile:

As a vendor, you are responsible for the information in your account profiles. Please periodically login to your account to make sure that the information is accurate and current. To assist you in the process, we have made the ‘Working with your Marketplace Profiles’ tutorial available under the ‘New Users’ link in the ‘Main’ tab of you account.

Service Agreement Update:

SicommNet has recently updated our Secure Online Service Agreement (SOSA). A link to it is located at the bottom of the home page www.sicomm.net. Please take the time to review it.
